Lou Krugman appeared in four episodes of I Love Lucy in various roles in Season 4-6 first appearing in the episode "Lucy Gets Into Pictures"; in two, he appeared as the Babalu Club Manager, in the episodes "Lucy Meets Orson Welles" and Lucy and Bob Hope.


Career[]

A veteran character actor/voice artist through four decades of work, Lou in a few feature films from the late '50s through the early '60s including I Want to Live! (1958) but may be best known for his work on radio. He is said to have appeared on over 10,000 broadcasts and did over 700 voiceovers for television commercials An acting veteran of the 1940s, 50s, 60s, and 70s. Lou appeared in many classic TV series such as The Abbott and Costello Show, The Colgate Comedy Hour, Lux Video Theatre, The Adventures of Superman, The Mickey Rooney Show, Gunsmoke, Bewitched, The Wild, Wild West, and The Doris day Show. In films, Lou appeared largely in B-Movie features, in such films as To the Ends of the Earth {1948}, Where the Sidewalk Ends (1950), The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima {1952}, The Glass Wall (1953),Sabaka {1954}, Hong Kong Confidential (1958), I Want to Live! {1958}, Irma La Douce (1963), Island of Love {1963}, and The Detective (1968). Krugman died in Burbank, CA; he was interred and is buried at Mt. Siani Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles.
