Bennett Green (born October 4, 1904-Died September 1982) served as Desi Arnaz's stand-in on the I Love Lucy series; he also appearing in various roles during his 20 episode appearances throught the series' run, first appearing in a bit role as a stage hand in the Season 1 episode "The Audition", and last appearing in the episode "Lucy Meets Orson Welles" in Season six, the final season of the show. In addition to his appearances on I Love Lucy, Bennett also appeared in several episodes of The Lucy Show, and made guest appearances on The Beverly Hillbilles and the 1950's TV series Angel. He also appeared in several films, including the Marilyn Monroe classic film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), and uncredited roles in 1951's Two Tickets to Broadway, A Walk in the Sun (1945), See My Lawyer (1945) Doughgirls (1944) and Raiders of Ghost City where he appeared as a state trooper. Bennett died in Hollywood, California.
